God is Always Needing To Be Born, an Advent retreat given by Sacred Thread Ministries’ retreat team at the Loyola Retreat Center in Morristown, was an appropriate introduction to this most joyful season.

Fr. Peter J. Krebs, Anita Constance, and Katherine Detlet, took the traditional understanding of Christmas as waiting for the arrival of a newborn Jesus to a message of freedom and hope that the Incarnation of a cosmic Christ challenges us to empty our hearts, and then open them  to wonder and compassion, which cultivates the spirit of gratitude that allows the light of Christ to flow through every life.
